As most of the country stays at home to slow down the outbreak of Coronavirus, we have taken a number of measures to ensure continuity of service here at CityBlock.
Our number one priority is the wellbeing of our residents and colleagues. We are doing everything we can to support our residents and the CityBlock team during this unprecedented time.
Our residents and staff members are following the Government’s instructions for all citizens in the UK to stay at home. To support our residents, CityBlock is ensuring:
- Maintenance Managers will be working earlier in the morning for essential maintenance, health and safety checks and cleaning in common areas.
- Our Lettings Managers will still be on site at certain times throughout the week, and will be contactable via email/phone at normal working hours when not physically on site.
- We will have ongoing communication with our residents to ensure continuous support for their wellbeing.
- Our out of hours security team are providing the same service and support as normal.
The central support team at CityBlock have moved to home-working and will remain available from 9-5pm from Monday-Friday. To support our residents and staff through this change, we have circulated guidance on how to make staying at home work for them both practically and emotionally.
At this present time, we have no known cases of Covid-19 from students currently living in our blocks, nor amongst any members of our staff. If a case is confirmed, our residents and staff have been advised to notify our team and to follow the Government’s official guidance.
Our commitment to our residents and staff is unequivocal. To see us through this crisis, we will continue to do all that we can as a business to provide ongoing support and reassurance.
