If there’s one thing students love, it’s eating. But forget post night-out cheesy chips and greasy 4am fast food, we’re talking about eating out at one of the many eateries in Lancaster city centre.
Lancaster is full of incredible places to eat, and many of them offer student discounts and special offers. Some of them you probably know about already, but there are plenty of delicious hidden gems tucked away that you should try.
So, here’s a guide to restaurants close to our student housing in Lancaster that you should definitely book for your next meal out:

They run a delightful happy hour every day, where a large range of dishes are just £4.95! And if your buddy or partner isn’t a huge fan of pasta (and if that’s the case why do you hang out with them??) Spaghetti House also offers a range of non-pasta-based dishes, too.
Blue Moon Restaurant
For all your Thai cuisine needs, Blue Moon Restaurant offers a refreshing modern Thai restaurant that specialises in high-quality dishes prepared by professional Thai chefs.
This popular restaurant can be found on Rosemary Lane, opposite the Flames takeaway. The menu features delicious vegetarian and vegan options and delectable tapas options served at lunchtime. A new edition to the Lancaster line-up of great eateries, the German Doner Kebab can be found next door to Kaspa’s on Penny Street.
